Educate your community about pertussis.
Many people in your community have probably heard of pertussis, or whooping cough, but don’t know much about it. Help spread the word (and not the disease) with the downloadable whooping cough poster, brochure, and wallet card.
Give them out at:
- Parent Teacher Association meetings
- Houses of worship
- Book clubs
- New parent groups
You could also work with your child’s health-care provider or another local medical practice to organize a vaccination event in your community. Or, you can just tell people to visit DoItForYourBaby.com to learn more.
